Procurement Specialist

Location: Philadelphia, PA (looking for 3 Specialists)

Description:
Perform material planning and procurement activities associated with direct production materials and/or contract manufacturing to meet needs for continuity of supply, costs competitiveness and fast new product launches.

• May participate in global, cross-sector or local projects in driving purchasing costs and risks down or improving supplier performances. Many involve in Basel saving report generation, troubleshooting, review and responding to category manager.
• Review and execute MRP and expedite the procurement of goods/services for production uses
• Negotiate with suppliers for optimal total cost of ownership and establish suppliers for new products and/or to obtain competitive pricing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree required
• 1 to 3 years of purchasing/material planning experience in Pharmaceutical or related industry
• Minimum of 1 year life science experience
• Documented track record of success required

Salary & Benefits:
$60 - $90K +Bonus, benefits
